The Random Option System is simple at its core, but it unfolds into a complex and dynamic mechanic that enhances gear progression and adds diversity to equipment.
RECOMMENDED TO USE CTR + F IF YOUR LOOKING FOR SOMETHING
When defeating a monster, there is a 50% chance that the dropped equipment item will include Random Options. These options add bonus stats and are stored in up to 4 slots, known as Random Option Slots (ROS).
Each Random Option is rolled individually and sequentially, with each having a 50% chance to be added. That means:
Monster drops a valid item.
A 50% roll is made to determine if it receives a first Random Option.
If successful, another 50% roll is made for a second option.
This continues up to a maximum of 4 Random Options, depending on the item category.
